Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the use of the Running Tours LPGC website and the booking of our running tour services in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Service Description
Running Tours LPGC offers guided running tours in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Each tour includes a professional local guide, route guidance, photos during the run, and water. Specific details for each tour (distance, duration, difficulty, meeting point) are described on the website.
Participant Requirements
Our tours require a basic level of physical fitness. By booking, participants declare they are in adequate physical condition for the chosen activity. We recommend consulting a doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. The recommended minimum age is 16 years (under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian).
Risks and Safety
Running tours are a physical activity that involves inherent risks such as muscle injuries, falls, or adverse weather conditions. Participants assume these risks and must follow the guide's safety instructions at all times. Running Tours LPGC holds civil liability insurance (minimum coverage: 600,000 EUR) and accident/assistance insurance as required by Canary Islands active tourism regulations (Decreto 226/2017).
Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on the website include applicable taxes (IGIC at the current rate for sports services in the Canary Islands). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. The full amount is charged at the time of booking.
Booking Process
- Select a tour and preferred date
- Complete the booking form with your details
- Proceed to payment through our secure payment gateway (Stripe)
- Receive a confirmation email with all details
The contract is considered concluded upon receipt of the confirmation email.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103(l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (LGDCU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services with a specific execution date. As running tours are scheduled for a specific date, customers are not entitled to the standard 14-day withdrawal period.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Confirmation
After each booking, you will receive a confirmation email including: service summary, price paid, date and time, meeting point, cancellation policy, and notice that the right of withdrawal does not apply.
Dispute Resolution
In case of a dispute, consumers may contact the Consumer Arbitration System (Sistema Arbitral de Consumo) or the Consumer Arbitration Boards (Juntas Arbitrales de Consumo). For more information, contact the Directorate General for Trade and Consumer Affairs of the Canary Islands Government or the Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC) of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, without prejudice to the consumer's right to submit the dispute to the courts of their domicile.
